Thank you for …
Thank you for posting this. I had been using the clay mask all over my face and noticing it was working really well on my problem spots but leaving me dried out on my healthy skin when I would use it too much. It never occurred to me to just use the clay as a spot treatment. Going to bed with clay on my chin spot now!

the stuff your using is just facial clay, many clay masks are clay plus other ingredients, which might be why your skin dries when you use a clay mask.

Do you have the …
Do you have the Body Shop near you? They sell a diluted tea tree oil which is really good. You can usually buy tea tree oil from grocery stores too. Make sure that you dilute it if it’s 100%. Then just use it as a spot treatment - it’s great for the under the skin pimples.

It’ll go away with time. To speed it up you can use a spot treatment. Something anti-bacterial is best for the spots under the skin. Tea tree oil is great, or any other natural anti-bacterial.

I had a couple of pimples in the area of my face where my facial hair grows. I am too nervous to shave because I have a feeling that shaving will cause it to leave a permanent red mark. Should I shave over it, and is there something that can rid your face of a red discoloration?

Unfortunately I don’t think so. The best thing for blackheads and whitheads is regular exfoliating (2-3 times a week) and using the mud mask on your whole face for 5-10mins a couple of times a week.
I’m still struggling a lot with this one myself and am yet to find the best solution.

It depends on the …
It depends on the scar, if it’s a red or brown mark then it’ll take time and patience and massaging the area when you moisturise. Exfoliating 2-3 times a week helps a lot too.
If it’s a indent or raised lump on your face then you will need to see a dermatologist.

I am trying an ayervedic remedy called SAFI. I will stick to it for 2 weeks and let you know what happens. It might be hard to find SAFI for you, but I get it from Little India. It is a thick, bitter liquid that you take internally.
