Posted under acne scar cream by Dan Johnson on Friday 25 December 2009

i have had acne all through my teens and now that i am out of high school it seems to have gone away with age, but it left behind acne scars and some are pink because they are newer but i really need to find a cream that would hurt my skin to lighten the scars.

Palmer’s fade or ambi fade cream just follow the directions and you should be fine

Anyone have good results using sulfur and zinc for adult acne?

Posted under zinc acne by Dan Johnson on Friday 25 December 2009

I never had acne as a teenager, then all of a sudden last spring at 20 y/o, I started getting really painful zits all over my face. I drink a lot of water, I’m a clean person, I’m not stressed, I’m a vegetarian and I eat almost all homemade meals using all organic ingredients. I don’t eat greasy/chemical filled junk food. So it’s not my lifestyle that is causing this. It is absolutely driving me nuts.I have done research online and found that sulfur and zinc have been a long-used adult acne remedies. I bought sulfur soap and zinc cream last week, and have been using them daily. They seem to be helping, but I know it’s too soon to tell. Has anyone else had good results with these?

*Please don’t recommend I go buy clearasil or proactive type products. They are filled with nasty chemicals, and while I’m sure they’re great for treating acne, I’m not all that sure prolonged use won’t cause skin cancer or some other negative health result in later life. I stick to all natural, tried and tested remedies that people have used for hundreds of years with no bad results.

I haven’t heard anything about the soap your talking about but wanted to tell you about his mask I make for myself. Just put some oatmeal in blender and blend until very fine. Mix with water, not too soupy ok, pat on face and let dry and wash of with warm water. It makes your face come alive. I hope you give it a try and like it as well as I do.
