Always Research And Go To A Dermatologist

Here is a lifelong tip that helped me…..

Calamine Lotion can be used to treat acne, its a topic over the counter treatment that combines inc oxide and iron(III) oxide used as a spot treatment it can dry them out pimples quickly or let it set overnight for a longer lasting effect, or use a cotton ball and dab it all over like a mask and let dry for 10mins then rinse.
Or try taking a Zinc pill. it dries them from the inside out and keeps them from reoccuring as much.

i had acne on my forehead a lot when i was younger from like 13-16 and i tried acnefree (the generic version of proactiv and it worked amazing for me. after a while i stopped using it and my acne never came back.

YES. There’s nothing frivolous about going to a dermatologist for acne. They have tools and expertise that no pharmacist or even GP can claim. I just bet you’d be thrilled with the improvement, Young Lady. But you are not the one who needs convincing, are you? So show this to your mom.

I’m a board certified otorhinolaryngologist with 32 years as a MD. If your kid is as miserable with her skin as she’s written (despite her sincere efforts at self-help), if you can manage to take her to a dermatologist for a consultation, please do.
Your kid needs your support on this… she already has mine.

Definitely go to the dermatologist. He/she may prescribe oral medications that can clear up your acne. I’ve heard Proactiv is one of the best topical acne systems, and not too expenseve.
