Anyone have good results using sulfur and zinc for adult acne?
I never had acne as a teenager, then all of a sudden last spring at 20 y/o, I started getting really painful zits all over my face. I drink a lot of water, I’m a clean person, I’m not stressed, I’m a vegetarian and I eat almost all homemade meals using all organic ingredients. I don’t eat greasy/chemical filled junk food. So it’s not my lifestyle that is causing this. It is absolutely driving me nuts.I have done research online and found that sulfur and zinc have been a long-used adult acne remedies. I bought sulfur soap and zinc cream last week, and have been using them daily. They seem to be helping, but I know it’s too soon to tell. Has anyone else had good results with these?
*Please don’t recommend I go buy clearasil or proactive type products. They are filled with nasty chemicals, and while I’m sure they’re great for treating acne, I’m not all that sure prolonged use won’t cause skin cancer or some other negative health result in later life. I stick to all natural, tried and tested remedies that people have used for hundreds of years with no bad results.
I haven’t heard anything about the soap your talking about but wanted to tell you about his mask I make for myself. Just put some oatmeal in blender and blend until very fine. Mix with water, not too soupy ok, pat on face and let dry and wash of with warm water. It makes your face come alive. I hope you give it a try and like it as well as I do.

DOES ZINC HELP ACNE PLEASE HELP!!?
ok so i know that zinc is good for your skin, but i heard that u can crush it and mix it with water then aply to your face. Is this ok to do, is it good for your skin?
Okay,YES! Zinc can help very much! Not sure about crushing it up n applying to face but in other ways though.I would guess it would be fine..I did that with Vitamin E capsules and that happened to help ( a bit). Zinc is much more stronger so go ahead and try it…b4 u go to bed, do such…I am not reliable if anything happens…I am clearly just suggesting…not forcing,
More ways to help Problemes/
I’ve been zinc tablets and now, after like a month or so…my skin is SOOO much better! Not even kidding. My acne/rosacea (some people mix acne and rosacea so bad… both common diseases.I can tell I have both by details of both…google if u need those details of knowing which one(s) u need).Though zinc is the most powerful thing to help skin conditions..you cannot rely on Zinc alone! NO no no. You also need a awesome diet for your skin problem(Google foods good for skin..including low calorie food…and spices.Since both calories and spices cause heat in the body..they will increase redness.).As well as proper sleep schedule (8-9 hrs a day…make sure you go to bed and wake up at the same time ever night and morning). You also have to detox your body…by yoga, saunas and food (ect). Lay off all of the bad foods…like processed food, artificial flavoring, artificial preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sugar and bad carbs. So, less McDonalds and t.v. trays (well at least, not as much). No more soda either (absolutely the worst thing to drink as well as alchoal). Lay off the candies too,try other sweet items like mangoes and strawberries. Hope you take this advice…it worked for me-hope it does for you.
P.s. dont believe skin docs n proactive/nuetrangena/ect…they want ur money…not ur face to be better. They help killing acne but by killing ur skin…which makes acne n such worse over time…try natural cleansers.

acne problems. Can I Take betacarotene 25000 iu, Vit E 400iu, Vit C 1000mg and zinc 10 mg Everday? is it safe?
I am 24 years old, my mild acne problems started when I was 20. so i have been researching for something to fix the problem. I never had this problem during my teenage years.
Yes,you should be fine taking these vitamin supplements. Some adults do develop acne as adults,it just comes in to play with our hormones.I would just buy a good facial scrub that exfoliates the dead skin cells and they make a ton of products that can help with the acne. You could either go the route with using Proactive or any of the Clinique products that you both find on line, just type the names in the search bar.I do suggest that you drink a ton of water and try to keep your hands off of your face, the oil off our hands only contributes to the condition.Hope this is of some help.
