  • How can I get rid of what was left behind after a blackhead on my face?

Posted under blackhead treatment by Dan Johnson on Friday 25 September 2009

I have never had a black head in my life, until about a month ago! I have been putting spot acne treatment on it, and seems like it is still there, or it left behind a dark color on my skin! It is not as dark as it was a month ago, but it looks purplelish red now, and is irritating the heck out of me! PLEASE HELP!

Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. What’s the best treatment for getting rid of scars from pimples on your face? Something that works quickly?

Posted under blackhead treatment by Dan Johnson on Sunday 20 September 2009

I’ve heard so many different things but is there a shelf product in Australia that can help? I’m using Nivea face cleaner for men, and a clean and clear blackhead cleaner after I shower but I want to get rid of allot of teenage years of picking at my face. I want clean looking skin.

Bio oil helps reduce the look of scars which is quite cheap and you can buy off the shelf. But it does feel quite oily. It’s available in most chemists.

I would try it though. http://www.bio-oil.info/

I would also recommend SILK PEELS.

I would recommend finding a Beauty Salon (they cater for BOTH women and men) and find one that offers Silk Peels. (I am in Australia)

The beauty Salon I went to had this treatement. A Silk Peel is basically they used this little vaccum sucking machine to clean your face. It sucks up blackheads/pimples/dirt/oil etc. completely safe, and not dangerous at all and doesn’t hurt. All you feel is a sucking motion on your face…(there is no peel or anything). I’ts great. After you get one done, you can feel you face and your skin DOES feel like Silk!!!! (hence why they call it that name). It used to cost me about $ 100 per session.

I have had some scars that i have, that have been reduced immensely, and seen photos of other people where it’s improved.

I’m not sure where you could get them from. Only a few beauty salons have it i think. But if you did some research I would definitely recommend it. I used to do a Silk Peel monthly in combination with my cleanser/mosituriser creams (I use dermalogica products).

Here I found from the place I go to what it says about the Silk Peel.

SilkPeel Dermalinfusion is the most advanced form of micro-dermabrasion available in the world today. It is a breakthrough treatment that combines non-invasive exfoliation with infusion of skin-specific solutions to improve and revitalize your skin. Benefits include:
    Immediate skin improvement
    A non-invasive technique
Simultaneous exfoliation, dermalinfusion, lymphatic, muscle and nerve point stimulation.
Specific solutions to address clients concerns
    No down time
    No peeling
No prior skin preparation time required
    Fast and effective

A way to get rid of blackheads?

Posted under blackhead treatment by Dan Johnson on Wednesday 16 September 2009

My mom won’t let me go out and buy the clean & clear blackhead eraser or any acne/blackhead treatment so Do you know any homemade remedies or products(other than the blackhead eraser) that gets rid of blackheads?

    Thnks!

Exfoliate 2-3 x a week with a mild scrub containing fine granules. You could also try steaming your face with boiling water (pour it into a large bowl) for a good 15 minutes. After wrap your fingers in tissue and carerfully press on the area to extract blackheads. Do not force them to come out by squeezing hard, you’ll risk scarring. Try this weekly until your blackheads are softened. Try saving up your money for Paula Choice BHA serm. Don’t waste your money on the clean and clear stuff.

you can get it anywhere really but the best kind ive found is at acne.org. I just like it better bc its clear so you can keep putting it on all day without getting big white patches on your face lol

    The Treatment Of Inflammation

Posted under blackhead treatment by Dan Johnson on Monday 7 September 2009

When you are healthy, inflammation is actually the immune system's first reply to infection or irritation. It is a good thing!

However, uncontrolled, chronic or systemic inflammation is a distinct sort of BAD soreness, the darker side of what should be a healing process. thereafter, chronic inflammation ensues
