I need an acne treatment that I can get at walmart or a drug store. I don’t need a facewash. Just "spot treatment" for acne that I can put right on the pimple. What have you used? What works best? Any skincare tips?

Have you looked into Proactive for your spot treatment?

I’ve been using Proactive for a while now and it works really great. It works very fast, within a day or so. I haven’t had a breakout in a while. I’ve tried all sorts of different acne medication and pills and none of those worked for me. Now I just need to figure out how to gert rid of all these scars

It’s my best friend. It’s not just any acne treatment either it’s the range from the Body Shop! The tea tree oil range…
I know she’s trying to get rid of some spots but I’m not sure whether I should get her the stuff cus it might upset her?
How about a gift card to a really nice jewelry store, then?
I tried choosing her earrings but we like really different things so it’s hard for me. I’m worried this might look a bit impersonal though. But I thought we could go and choose it together?

I think it might upset her. I would feel pretty self conscious if someone got that for me? Best to get her something else I think.

I would like to give my girl friend that Proactive Skin treatment for christmas but i’m not sure how i would go about doing it without offending her. she is very beautiful and always feels very down about her acne.

I was always down about my acne and my boyfriend gave me proactiv, it didn’t offend me at all, it showed he really cared about me, since he wanted to make me feel better when I was so upset about my face =] In fact, that is one of my favorite things he gave me.

I dont have terrible acne but i have been starting to get more acne on my chin and nose lately. its not alot. its just spotty. like a few pimples on my nose and 1 or 2 on my chin. What is the best type of acne treatment for this? I hear the new Neutrogina "wave" massager works nice. I also hear good things about the proactive system. What do you think? Thanks!

I use Clearasil. It helps me. I used to have very bad acne, but like in a week all of cleared up. So I keep using Clearasil.

I am considering taking birth control pills for for birth control and acne treatment. I know that once i stop taking them i can regain fertility, but what would happen to my skin? Would I have a surge of acne back?
Btw, my acne isn’t very severe. It’s moderate.

I’m assuming you’re pretty young then, if you aren’t already on birth control. I started the pill for skin treatment when I was 16, and after a while it cleared right up and became smooth (it was horribly rashy and uneven) and now it’s fine (I’m now 20).
If you are still under say 21 then your hormones are probably still not in balance, which is why your skin is still bad. By the time you decide you’re ready for kids, your hormones should be more settled and stopping the pill won’t effect your skin too much I hope. Just keep it cleansed and toned and don’t clog it with too much makeup and you should be fine.
