  • Is glycerin based soap good against acne?

Posted under acne soap by Dan Johnson on Thursday 5 November 2009

I’ve heard from others that glycerin based soap is good against acne and it really helps improve your face. Is this true? Has anyone tried using this before? Where can I get this soap?

A lot of people have been saying that $1 products are ways to really ruin your face, while other people are saying how it actually works so much better than $60’s worth of Murad or ProActive.

Soak a cotton ball in warm salt water. Press on top of blemish for 3 minutes to dissolve the top. Then, dab a bit of honey on the affected area to deep clean the pore and draw out bacteria. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

One thing you should do is change your pillow case(s) every day. That way you won’t get any oil or dirt on your face again.

"Proactiv®" has also proven to be useful in some circumstances, though for some people it doesn’t work.

If you ever pop a whitehead and you have "Proactiv®", put a dab of Revitalizing Toner on the popped zit. This should help clear it.

Apply some sudocrem to your spots, This helps them.

Use shampoo! suave professionals biobasics for damaged hair is a good example. its cheap and you have a lot of it, and at the same time it gets rid of all the oil and grease, helping zits fade. however, many shampoos contain lauryl sulfates which can damage your skin.

Change your pillow case every week. You sleep on it! Most of your germs and bacteria are passed onto your pillow case and back onto your skin…. making acne worse.

Take Minocycline. Minocycline is an antibiotic which kills bacteria. Minocycline should be taken with caution, however, as it has been show to damage the thyroid gland, liver, and hair. It makes skin sensitive and lowers the body’s resistance to pathogens. If you do choose to take minocyline, make sure to get bloodwork every six months at the doctor’s office to monitor your health.

ࡱAcne is the most dreaded skin disease in the entire world. Only in the United States most individuals suffer from acne. Acne is caused by the excess production of sebum, a particular type of oil secreted through the sebaceous glands. No matter what the cause is that leads to your acne problem, you must find out the ways that can cure them. To combat acne, you can either opt for medications or natural remedies. An easy natural treatment to cure acne is by applying a honey mask. Honey has antibacterial properties, which takes care of those small blemishes. Make sure that you use acne soap twice a day most definitely. And you can’t do it without a potent multi-vitamin and not to mention a chromium supplement.

You need Vitamin A as it reinforces the protective tissue of the skin, thus preventing acne and what’s more it aids to lessen sebum production. Try not to wear make up for it adds to your skin problem. Water is a magic potion for your skin; so do drink as much of water as you can. Homemade treatments can help rejuvenate your skin and fight bacteria. Tea tree oil, tomatoes, lemon, cucumber, turmeric, lime, oats, honey, and orange are some of the natural remedies that you can look forward to.

If you go in for non-prescription remedies, try the lotions that hold benzoyl peroxide. It helps to dehydrate the skin so as to shed the surface layer of dead skin. Azelaic acid can be an excellent alternative to benzoyl peroxide. Besides that, topical retinoids, which are medicines, based on Vitamin A can be totally effective as well.

    Herbal Guide To Cure Acne

Posted under acne soap by Dan Johnson on Wednesday 21 October 2009

It’s very rare on earth that at some point of life you didn’t get a pimple down on your chin or blackheads on your nose. Probably it had happened when you were sweet sixteen. Anyways the adolescent period is the prime hour to get affected by acne. Till you have reached your thirty’s somehow these reddened spots disappear.

Among the form of acnes pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, blackheads, comedons and cystic acne are widespread. Among the treatments followed by most across the world, simple cleaning the face with water and face cleansing solution or soap is most common.

There are also many alternatives present in the medicinal treatment of acne. Doctors will go for antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide solutions and ointments to cure acne. But there is an entirely natural way to find out remedial solution for acne. In the herbal medicinal world, there are quite a number of curing medicines to treat acne.

To name the two best herbal remedies, they can be none other but neem and haemafine syrup.

    Neem as blood purifier

Scientifically neem is known as Azadirachta indica. From ancient times, the leaves of neem have been used to maintain a glowing and healthy skin throughout the Oriental countries. This holds a great significance in the Ayurvedic practice.

As a detoxifier, neem holds a prominent place for ages. It is also known to be an excellent medicine to keep your blood purified and free from germs. Now what has blood to do with acne? There is a deep relation between skin condition and the state of blood. Until your blood is free from any kind of germs, it is not possible for the skin to maintain the radiance. This is somewhat an association between the body’s internal system and the external organs. Internally once the blood is affected, the external reflection comes directly on the skin.

Again neem enhances your immunity and keeps your skin away from any type of infection. The neem does this by enhancing lymphocytes to resist the infection.

    Haemafine syrup for bright complexion

This is a specific tonic exclusively used as a herbal treatment procedure for purification of the blood. Quite similar as neem, this syrup too acts as a balm to keep your blood pure and hence your skin is unaffected from any external infection.

Above all haemafine syrup brings a fresh glow to your skin and give you are better look of youthful days.

Thus both these herbal remedies for acne put stress on blood purification. The internal cleansing is considered to be the strength for the external well-being.

Teenage Acne - No Need To Worry Anymore

Posted under acne soap by Dan Johnson on Thursday 15 October 2009

This is the time when you want to look your best and feel exuberant. But sadly enough this is also the time when the acne attacks are most severe and unavoidable. Teenage acne comprises almost 85% of teenagers who range in their age from 12 years old and upward. Teenage signifying the transition from childhood to adolescence is one time when you should take extra care to prevent acne and acne scars from getting permanent.

    Causes for teenage acne

Acne occurs at this time due to hormonal changes within the body. As an aftermath of these hormonal changes, the oil secretion in the body increases and on perfect mixing with the dead cells of the skin, they start giving rise to acne on your face, neck and body. You should prevent this teenage acne. So it is best to remain safe, be cautious, prevent acne with regular care and enjoy a fresh and glowing skin all your life.

Teenage acne happens mainly during the onset of puberty when the body begins to produce hormones called androgens. There is more of the tendency in boys to get acne because the hair follicles [pores on the skin] get blocked easily. The extra oil that is produced during puberty times gets mixed with the great amount of dead skin and general dirt thereby blocking the pores underneath the skin. Once the pores get blocked, the trapped materials in the pores cause redness and even exude pus at times.

    Preventions for teenage acne

However, there are various other ways to prevent teenage acne and reduce it in case of intense acne outbursts. Wash your skin after every one hour with cold water and thoroughly after exercises. When you are retiring for the night, make sure that you wash your face with a mild soap or soft astringent that will eliminate the dirt out of your skin. After washing of your face, select some acne prevention creams to massage on your face. The cream should contain topical agents including Sulphur, Retinoic acid, Salicylic acid, Benzoyl Peroxide and Azelaic acid. Teenage acne can also be cured with the application of pastes of herbal products like sandalwood powder, cedar wood, herbal facemasks, Aloe Vera, lavender oils, rose waters, and lemon juice and clay masks.

Make your teenage child consume foods that are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin B-2, Vitamin B-3, Vitamin E and zinc-rich items like nuts, liver, eggs, milk, fish and green leafy vegetables. Let your teenage children follow a balanced diet and take healthy food to remain fit and enjoy fresh skin with minimal of skin infections. Always use various cleansers and toners, along with gels, creams, and lotions prescribed by the dermatologists to enjoy a clean and acne-clear face to the teenagers.
