Is there an acne facial soap bar that doesn’t dry out your skin?

Posted under acne soap by Dan Johnson on Monday 16 November 2009

I’ve tried the orange Neutrogena one, and it dries out skin. Is there anything else that doesn’t dry my skin out?
I need something fo my oily skin
I need something to get rid of oily skin

i think that you should use cleansing wipes everyday when you wake up and an stringent biore has some good ones.
i had the same type of problem until i started using an astringent and that helped a lot it wouldnt dry out my skin but it wouldnt look greasy or oily either.

Will washing face with soap help get rid of acne?

Posted under acne soap by Dan Johnson on Friday 13 November 2009

have had Proactive for a while and it helps bit recently I’ve been getting more acne. Will washing my face with soap in the shower help?I’ll still wash with Proactive twice a day. But washing with soap, will it dry out your face and make it peel?

No, instead of proactive, do setaphil or however you spell it, proactive is a rip off!

What healthy fruits/foods help prevent acne? Or what soap types?

Posted under acne soap by Dan Johnson on Sunday 8 November 2009

I have some acne on my back (the pimples arn’t too big, yet) and I was wondering what foods help prevent this? I heard that some fruits can reduce the risk of cancer. Is there any that reduce acne?

Also, what kind of flavoured soaps should I get for it? 10 Points to whoever answers both questions and gives a list of fruits and healthy foods to prevent this.

If you want to be acne-free for life, and instead have a healthy glowing clear complexion, then you need to consume food and drinks high in natural nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals.

The very best thing you can do for your skin is raw vegetable juicing:

I am NOT talking about drinking juice from a carton or bottle but preparing fresh juices at home .

(i.e.) cucumber, carrot, orange, beetroot – are all fantastic for skin.

You should also add a daily green smoothie drink:

You should eat plenty of fresh raw fruits and fresh raw vegetables:

And drink lemon in hot water first thing in the morning (to flush kidneys) and sip plain filtered water throughout the day.

Limit or avoid your intake of processed flours, sodas, refined sugar, artificial sweeteners, alcohol, caffeine, too much animal protein (meat & dairy), chocolate, etc…

NEVER use soap on your face.

Instead cleanse with 100% pure cold-pressed jojoba oil. You can also moisturise with it, or moisturise with 100% pure cold-pressed avocado oil or virgin cold-pressed coconut oil.

Choose a gentle vegetable based soap or plain soap for your back:

A juice fast for a couple of days may help, but as you will be detoxing, your symptoms will get worse before they get better.

I do all of this and my complexion has never been better – it is clear, glowing and very healthy looking.

    Good luck
