  • What healthy fruits/foods help prevent acne? Or what soap types?

Posted under acne soap by Dan Johnson on Sunday 8 November 2009

I have some acne on my back (the pimples arn’t too big, yet) and I was wondering what foods help prevent this? I heard that some fruits can reduce the risk of cancer. Is there any that reduce acne?

Also, what kind of flavoured soaps should I get for it? 10 Points to whoever answers both questions and gives a list of fruits and healthy foods to prevent this.

If you want to be acne-free for life, and instead have a healthy glowing clear complexion, then you need to consume food and drinks high in natural nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals.

The very best thing you can do for your skin is raw vegetable juicing:

I am NOT talking about drinking juice from a carton or bottle but preparing fresh juices at home .

(i.e.) cucumber, carrot, orange, beetroot – are all fantastic for skin.

You should also add a daily green smoothie drink:

You should eat plenty of fresh raw fruits and fresh raw vegetables:

And drink lemon in hot water first thing in the morning (to flush kidneys) and sip plain filtered water throughout the day.

Limit or avoid your intake of processed flours, sodas, refined sugar, artificial sweeteners, alcohol, caffeine, too much animal protein (meat & dairy), chocolate, etc…

NEVER use soap on your face.

Instead cleanse with 100% pure cold-pressed jojoba oil. You can also moisturise with it, or moisturise with 100% pure cold-pressed avocado oil or virgin cold-pressed coconut oil.

Choose a gentle vegetable based soap or plain soap for your back:

A juice fast for a couple of days may help, but as you will be detoxing, your symptoms will get worse before they get better.

I do all of this and my complexion has never been better – it is clear, glowing and very healthy looking.

    Good luck
